Crawford County Catholics

There are two Roman Catholic Parishes of Crawford County, St. Elizabeth in Robinson and Our Lady of Lourdes in Oblong. Both pastored by Fr. David Beagles.

Flat Rock First Missionary Baptist

Sunday service times are 9 a.m. for Bible study classes for all ages, 10 a.m. for worship and 6 p.m. is evening worship.

Pastor J.D. Branson’s Sunday messages are available on Facebook at 10:15 a.m.

The Brotherhood men’s group meets the first Saturday of the month at 9 a.m. for breakfast and a devotion. The group usually completes a church or community project during this time. All men are welcome to attend.

The church women’s group, Betty’s Women on a Mission (WMU), meets the second Tuesday of every month at the church. Snacks and social time is 5:30-6 p.m. and the meeting is at 6 p.m.

Thursdays at 6 p.m. Branson leads a Bible study which can be viewed on Facebook.

Oblong First Baptist

A Good Friday Lord’s Supper service is at 6 p.m,

Easter Sunday worship is at the regular times.

On April 5, a concert will be held at the Oblong Grade School. The doors open at 5:15 p.m. The Christian bands DISCIPLE and THE PROTEST are performing at 6 p.m. This concert is free to everyone.

Sundays at 9:30 a.m. is Bible study followed by worship at 10:30 a.m. Evening services are at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday unless otherwise noted on their Facebook page.

SWAT and YOUTH groups meet at 6 p.m., Wednesdays.

Olive Branch Baptist

The church is three miles north of Annapolis. Brother Randy Nave as pastor. 

Friday, at 7 p.m. is the OBBC Choir Easter Cantata. 

Easter service is at 7 a.m. for the Sonrise service with a breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. with Sunday school from 8:30-9:30 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. is morning worship. There will not be evening service.

Bible study is at 7 p.m., Wednesday.

Dogwood Prairie and Seed Chapel United Methodist

Service at Seed Chapel, 4.5 miles south of Oblong, is at 9 a.m. with Sunday school at 10 a.m. Roanna Wartsbaugh and Randy King will be leading the songs and Sheri Alexander will be playing the piano.

Service at Dogwood Prairie, 5.5 miles north of Oblong, is at 10:15 a.m. with Sunday school at 9 a.m. Jon Dart will share the announcements, Jeff Shipman will lead songs and Sherry Boyd will play the piano. The Dogwood Prairie Ensemble will be performing.

Bible study is at 6:30 p.m.,Mondays at Seed Chapel and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at Dogwood Prairie. Seed Chapel is exploring the Book of Esther and Dogwood Prairie is reflecting on perspectives from the cross. Weekly reflection are at 7 p.m. on Thursdays via Facebook Live, www.facebook.com/dogwoodprairie.

Friday at 6 p.m. at Dogwood Prairie is a Good Friday service.

Sunday at 7 a.m., there is a SonRise service at Dogwood Prairie with a small breakfast to follow.
