OLNEY –– Another meet saw more solid performances from members of the Lawrence County high school cross country team Saturday.
At the Olney Invitational, Braydan Morrison was again the top finisher for Lawrence County, as he placed 23rd out of 172 runners in the boys’ race with a time of 17:41.
Also for Lawrence County, Aiden Crawford finished 64th in 19:03 and Simon Crawford was 110th in 20:40.
Race winner was Mt. Vernon’s Caedmon Cook with a time of 16:06.
In the girls’ race, Laurel Buchanan finished 50th out of 149 total runners with a time of 22:43, while Reese Tracy was 80th with a time of 24:08.
Race winner was Carterville’s Molly Robertson with a time of 19:05.
Lawrence County is scheduled to run at Newton Thursday at 4:30 p.m., then is slated to host the annual Lawrenceville Invitational Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.
