Crosby Scholarship applications available at RHS

Applications for the 2022-23 Merle E. Crosby Scholarship are available at Robinson High School in RHS Athletic Director Tara Apple’s office.

To be eligible, a senior student – male or female – must be planning on attending Lincoln Trail College or another accredited two our four-year college, have a “respectable” grade-point-average and have excelled in any school-sponsored extracurricular activity – athletic programs, band, clubs, etc. – for at least three years, with participation in multiple extracurricular activities given extra consideration.

Deadline to submit an application is Friday, March 31, at 9 a.m.

Robinson Community Little League registration open

Registration for Robinson Community Little League for the 2023 summer season is currently open on the league’s website – www.robinsonlittleleague.com.

The league is open to anyone age 6-15 that lives in Crawford County and/or attends school in Crawford County. Divisions offered include Pee Wee (6-8), Minor (7-11), Major (9-12) and Junior (13-15).

Cost is $45 per player, with siblings being $30 apiece and a $100 max per family.

Deadline to sign up is March 31, while tryouts will be held in early April. All players will be placed on a team. Tryouts are to assist coaches in the drafting process.

The season runs from mid-May to early July.
