NOTICE IS GIVEN TO Brandon Ball and “Any and All Unknown Fathers and to Whomever it May Concern” that on December 18, 2020 a PETITION FOR TERMINATION OF PARENTAL RIGHTS AND FOR APPOINTMENT OF GUARDIAN WITH POWER TO CONSENT TO ADOPTION was filed under the Juvenile Court Act by State’s Attorney MICHAEL M. STRANGE in this Court and that in the courtroom of the Presiding Judge in the Lawrence County Courthouse Lawrenceville, Illinois on April 28 at 2:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as this case may be heard, a Termination of Parental Rights hearing will be held upon the Petition, THE COURT HAS AUTHORITY IN THE PROCEEDING TO TAKE FROM YOU CUSTODY AND GUARDIANSHIP OF THE MINOR, TO TERMINATE YOUR PARENTAL RIGHTS, AND TO APPOINT A GUARDIAN WITH POWER TO CONSENT TO ADOPTION, YOU MAY PERMANTLY LOSE ALL PARENTAL RIGHTS TO THE CHILD. Unless you appear, you will not be entitled to further notices or publication notices of the proceedings in this case, including the filing of an amended motion to terminate parental rights.
UNLESS YOU appear at the hearing and show cause to the contrary, AN ORDER OR JUDGEMENT BY DEFAULT MAY BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU FOR THE RELIEF ASKED IN THE PETITION.
