Bridgeport council seats new member, reminds residents to send in water survey forms

BRIDGEPORT — The Bridgeport City Council met in regular session on June 8 and appointed Kevin Biggs to a 2-year term to fill the empty seat on the board for alderman in Ward 1. The appointment was made under the request of Bridgeport Mayor Tyler Griffin. Councilman T.J. McClellan made the motion which was seconded by councilman Chris Seitzinger. The appointment passed unanimously by the council and Biggs was sworn-in and seated during the meeting.
