CROWN POINT, IND. –– The run finally came to an end for Lawrence County’s Cal Ripken 12-year-old all-star baseball team at the Ohio Valley Regional Tournament, but not before the local squad made it to the final six.

The City of Lawrenceville is monitoring the building collapse on State Street which occurred on Thursday afternoon at the old Yosowitz building and Tykal’s Bar. Both buildings sustained extensive damage including collapsed roofs and exterior structures.
