LAWRENCEVILLE — Edward Gosnell, age 68, of Lawrenceville, died on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021 at his home in Lawrenceville.
He was born on June 15, 1952 in Lawrence County, the son of Bill and Evelyn Gosnell. He married Sherry (Ferguson) Gosnell on June 21, 1971, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 10, 2004.
He worked at Ambraw Asphalt for 20 plus years and was a member of the Lawrenceville Moose.
Preceding him in death were: his parents; wife; one son, Luke; sisters, Shirley Beers, Clara Mathis, Delores Plummer and Shirley Ann Gosnell; and two brothers, David Gosnell and Donald Gosnell.
Survivors include: two children, one daughter, Mia Ketron of Lawrenceville; and one son, Cody Gosnell and wife, Jessica, of Lafayette, Indiana; three sisters, Freeda Hughes and husband, Barney, of Lawrenceville; Donna Smith and husband, John, of Sumner; and Sally Legg of Lawrenceville; one brother, Bob Gosnell and wife, Barbara, of North Carolina; mother-in-law, Jean Collins of Lawrenceville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
His wishes were to be cremated and services will be conducted at a later date.
Emmons-Macey and Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville is in charge of the arrangements.
