Gary K. Tussey
SAINT FRANCISVILLE — Gary K. Tussey, age 80 of St. Francisville, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.
He was born on Sept. 22, 1940 in St. Francisville, the son of Cleo “Clet” and Bonnie (Ensor) Tussey. He married Barbara Thompson on Jan. 28, 1960 and she survives.
Gary owned and operated Tussey Oil Properties for 55 years, as well as Tussey Thoroughbreds. He was a member of the St. Francisville Christian Church and the Horseman’s Association.
Preceding him in death were: his parents; and one granddaughter, Tara Tussey.
Survivors include: his wife, Barbara; two sons, Kevin Tussey and wife, Joyce and Brian Tussey and wife, Boo, all of Bridgeport; two brothers, Ronald C. Tussey and wife, Gloria, Munster, Indiana; and John Tussey and wife, Mary Jo, St. Francisville; five grandchildren, Jamie Tussey; Jessica Thomas; Scott Tussey and wife, C. J.; Larry Pedigo and Tyler G. K. Tussey and wife, Dakotah; and 11 great-grandchildren, Fiona Tussey, Beckett Tussey, Rowan Tussey, Greyson Thomas, Ella Thomas, Miller Tussey, Aeryn Bailey, Carin Pedigo, Lane Dean Pedigo, Kenley Pedigo and Tuff Tussey.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Aug. 2 at the Emmons-Macey and Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
Burial was in the Oaklawn Cemetery.
