BRIDGEPORT — Gerry Ann Phillips, age 81 of Bridgeport, died on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021 in Olney at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 30, 1939 in Bridgeport to Charles Franklin Rousey and Eunice Geraldine (Croslow) Rousey Wells. Gerry Ann married Ralph Phillips on Sept. 29, 1958.
She was a homemaker, a cook at Pizza Hut for quite a while, and worked at Wal-Mart for many years as well.
Surviving family includes: her husband, Ralph Phillips of Bridgeport; two sons, Mark Phillips of Sumner; and Matthew Phillips and his wife Michelle of Lawrenceville; one sister, Betty Stanley and husband Ed of Bridgeport; two half-sisters, Patty and Susie; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter-in-law, Teresa Phillips; and several siblings.
A graveside service will take place at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021 at Bridgeport City Cemetery.
Cunningham Funeral Home is assisting the family through their time of loss.
