Indians hold on to beat North Clay, 52-49

LAWRENCEVILLE –– It was a tale of two halves Tuesday night for Lawrenceville’s boys’ basketball team in their non-conference contest against Louisville-North Clay. The Indians trailed most of the first half, but turned things around in the second half en route to a 52-49 win.

Lady Indians lose to Newton at LIC tourney, 48-20
Offensive struggles continue to plague Lawrenceville High School’s girls’ basketball team. During the recent Little Illini Conference Tournament, the Lady Indians went 1-2 and scored a total of 77 points in those three games, including 29 total in a pair of losses. The latest of those defeats came Wednesday, Jan. 19, as the Lady Indians fell to Newton, 48-20, in a consolation semifinal.
