Although both of their games were close recently, neither of them resulted in a win for Red Hill High School’s girls’ basketball team. The Lady Salukis dropped a pair of conference contests last week, one at home and one on the road.

Lady Indians lose to Paris, 69-28
LAWRENCEVILLE –– Scoring points has been a struggle for Lawrenceville High School’s girls’ basketball team for most of the season and that was the case again Thursday night. The Lady Indians did not score more than nine points in any period, while visiting Paris reached double figures in all four quarters, resulting in a 69-28 loss for LHS in the Little Illini Conference contest.
Lady Salukis lose at Mt. Carmel, 50-16
MT. CARMEL –– Points were hard to come by for Red Hill High School’s girls’ basketball team Thursday, which resulted in a lopsided loss. The Lady Salukis were held to six points or less in every period and suffered a 50-16 loss in the non-conference road contest.
5th, 6th grade teams continue busy schedules
Fifth and sixth grade basketball teams from Lawrenceville continue to work through their busy schedules with a fair amount of success.
