Offensive struggles continue to plague Lawrenceville High School’s girls’ basketball team. During the recent Little Illini Conference Tournament, the Lady Indians went 1-2 and scored a total of 77 points in those three games, including 29 total in a pair of losses. The latest of those defeats came Wednesday, Jan. 19, as the Lady Indians fell to Newton, 48-20, in a consolation semifinal.

Lawrence County's high school wrestling team finished third out of 11 teams at the Carmi Invitational Saturday.
