Lydia Hope Buchanan
SAINT FRANCISVILLE — Lydia Hope Buchanan, 6 weeks of age, passed away at her home in the arms of her loving family on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 due to a congenital heart condition.
She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Feb. 17, 2021 to Hans J. Buchanan and his wife Susanna R. (Bartlett) Buchanan.
She will be missed by those who loved her most: her parents, Hans and Susanna Buchanan of St. Francisville; three brothers, Jadon, Jared and Elisha Buchanan, all at home; maternal grandparents, David and Joanna Bartlett of Oregon; and paternal grandmother, Elsa Buchanan of St. Francisville.
Lydia was preceded in death by: her paternal grandfather, Arthur Buchanan, on March 29, 2021.
A graveside service will be held in conjunction with her grandfather’s service on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Buchanan Cemetery south of Lawrenceville.
