The American Legion Auxiliary Lawrence Unit No. 28 recently made a donation to the Wreaths Across America project for the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.

Local churches come together for Solemn AssemblyOctober 27, 2020
On Oct. 25, several area churches and pastors came together to hold a Solemn Assembly on the courthouse square in Lawrenceville. Despite the rain and cold weather, over 100 people came out to support the service which began with praise music and prayer.
Lawrence County Historical Society Artifact of the WeekOctober 27, 2020
The Lawrence County Historical Society has many artifacts that document the history of our county. Each week the Daily Record will publish an "Artifact of the Week" from the historical society's museum, 619 State Street. This week's artifact is a postcard, showing a panoramic view of downtown Bridgeport from about 1912. It traveled through the U.S. Postal Service at the regular postcard rate of two cents.
