Lawrenceville, Sep. 28, 1938 - Ill. — Jul. 26, 2022Norma J. Pinkstaff, age 83, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022, at her residence. The daughter of Elmer and Helen (Walker) Snow, she was born on September 28th, 1938, in War Eagle, West Virginia.
Norma was a Lawrenceville High School graduate, class of 1957. Norma loved spending time with her family and enjoyed spending the holidays together.
Preceding her in death were her parents; son-in-law, John W. Havill, Sr.; and grandson, John William Havill Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, William Pinkstaff of Lawrenceville, Illinois; daughters, Kathy (Mark) Satterfield and Karen Havill, both of Lawrenceville, Illinois; sister, Roberta Beck of Cleveland, Tennessee; granddaughters, Samantha (Steve) Shappell and Angela Scott, both of Lawrenceville, Illinois; greatgrandchildren, Colton White, Lane Scott, Julius Shappell, Brenna White, Lucy Scott of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Jaxson Havill of Olney, Illinois; half-brothers, Rodney and Bill Snow both of Chardon, Ohio; and half-sister, Sheila Lanning of Painesville, Ohio; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, August 1st, 2022 at 11:00 AM CDT at the Derr Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial donations may be made to the Pinkstaff United Methodist Church. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
