Obituaries

Evansville, Jun. 6, 1933 - Ind. — Oct. 12, 2022Norma Rose Anthis, age 89, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on June 06, 1933 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of Herman and Marie (Schwab) Mahrenholz.

Norma Rose worked as a medical technician at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Vincennes and a lifetime member of the NRA. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.

Preceding her in death were her parents and four brothers, Herbert Mahrenholz, Alvin Mahrenholz, Glenn Mahrenholz, and Herman Mahrenholz, Jr.

Survivors include one nephew, Gene Mahrenholz and wife, Judy of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two nieces, Helen Kay Haley of Monticello, Florida and Linda Nightingale of Vincennes, Indiana; and one sister-in-law, Grace Mahrenholz of Lawrenceville, Illinois.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM CDT at the Fairview Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana. There will be no visitation. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Vincennes. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
