Baseball
Class 2A Newton Regional
Lawrenceville (15-6 as of May 10) is seeded seventh out of 11 teams in their Sub-Sectional and will take on 11th-seeded Robinson in an opening round game of the Newton Regional Monday at 4:30 p.m. in Lawrenceville. Also on Monday, ninth-seeded Marshall will host 10th-seeded Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville in a first round game.
The Lawrenceville-Robinson winner will then take on third-seeded Flora in the second semifinal Thursday, May 19, at 4 p.m. in Newton, while the Marshall-Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville winner will face second-seeded Newton in the first semifinal Wednesday, May 18, at 4 p.m. in Newton.
Semifinal winners will then square off in the championship game Saturday, May 21, at 11 a.m. in Newton, with the winner advancing to the Teutopolis Sectional, where they would face the Breese Central Regional champion in the second semifinal Thursday, May 26, at 4 p.m. The first semifinal is Wednesday, May 25, pitting winners of the Vandalia and Alton Marquette regionals against each other.
The championship game is set for Saturday, May 28, at 10 a.m., with the winner advancing to the SIU-Carbondale Super-Sectional, where they would take on the Benton Sectional champion Monday, May 30, at Itchy Jones Stadium at a time to be determined.
The Carbondale Super-Sectional champion will advance to the IHSA Class 2A State Finals June 3-4 at Dozer Park in Peoria.
Class 1A Louisville-North Clay Regional
Red Hill (9-8 at of May 10) is seeded seventh out of 10 teams in their Sub-Sectional and will open against third-seeded Farina South Central in the second semifinal Thursday, May 19, at 4 p.m. in Louisville.
The tournament begins Monday, with eighth-seeded Dieterich hosting ninth-seeded Cisne at 4:30 p.m., with the winner advancing to take on top-seeded Louisville-North Clay Wednesday, May 18, at 4 p.m. in Louisville.
Semifinal winners will meet in the championship game Saturday, May 21, at 11 a.m. in Louisville, with the winner advancing to the Effingham St. Anthony Sectional, where they will take on the Okaw Valley Regional champion in the first semifinal Wednesday, May 25, at 4 p.m. The second semifinal pits winners of the Casey-Westfield and Altamont regionals against each other Thursday, May 26, at 4 p.m.

Lawrenceville (8-12 as of May 10) is seeded ninth out of 11 teams in their Sub-Sectional and will open up with a first round game at seventh-seeded Flora Monday at 4:30 p.m.
The winner of that game will take on top-seeded Gillespie in the first semifinal Tuesday, May 17, at 4:30 p.m. in Salem, with the other semifinal pits fourth-seeded Salem against sixth-seeded Robinson Wednesday, May 18, at 4:30 p.m. in Salem.
Semifinal winners will meet in the championship game Friday, May 20, at 4:30 p.m. in Salem, with the winner advancing to the Gillespie Sectional, where they would take on the winner of the Breese Central Regional in the first semifinal Tuesday, May 24, at 4:30 p.m. The second semifinal will be between winners of the Alton Marquette and Vandalia regionals Wednesday, May 25, at 4:30 p.m., while the championship game is set for Friday, May 27, at 4:30 p.m. in Gillespie.
The Gillespie Sectional champion will advance to the Johnston City Super-Sectional, where they will take on the Carterville Sectional champion Monday, May 30, at 11 a.m.

Class 1A Wayne City Regional
Red Hill (2-13 as of May 10) is seeded fifth out of 10 teams in their Sub-Sectional and will take on fourth-seeded Grayville in the second semifinal Wednesday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. in Wayne City.
The tournament begins Monday, with eighth-seeded Webber Township hosting ninth-seeded Wayne City at 4:30 p.m. The winner of that game then advances to play top-seeded Edwards County in the first semifinal Wednesday, May 18, at 4:30 p.m.
The championship game is set for Friday, May 20, at 4:30 p.m. with the winner advancing to the Casey-Westfield Sectional, where they will take on the winner of the Oblong Regional in the second semifinal Tuesday, May 24, at 6:30 p.m. in Casey. The first semifinal pits winners of the Cumberland and Oblong regionals against each other at 4:30 p.m. that night, while the championship game is set for Friday, May 27, at 4:30 p.m. in Casey.
The Casey-Westfield Sectional champion will then advance to the Johnston City Super-Sectional, where they will take on the Goreville Sectional champion Monday, May 30, at 11 a.m.
