Local police departments including Palestine, Lawrenceville and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department are searching for a wanted felon believed to be in the Palestine area.
Mark S. Garner, 48, should be considered armed and dangerous. 
He was last seen wearing jeans and a dark hoodie.
Garner stands 5’10” tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Garner is wanted for escape, a Class 3 Felony. He was told by the judge in Lawrence County to report to jail on a certain date and failed to show up.
Police ask that if you see Garner, do not approach him, call 911, Crawford County Central Dispatch at 618-546-1515 or the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department at 618-943-5766 to report his location.
