Deputies were notified of a hit and run accident on Route 1 and North Trimble Road. The unknown subject left the scene after colliding with Justin Rich, 45, rural Flat Rock, who was pulling a 2000 EBY trailer, owned by Black Gold Genetics, Lawrenceville. More than $500 in damage was reported and no injuries occurred from the incident. The accident is still under investigation.

A 16-year-old male, Sumner, was arrested for reckless driving following a traffic stop on 200E near 225N. The juvenile was driving 114 mph in a 55 mph zone in a 2006 Pontiac GT. He was transported to the jail and processed through the system and later released to his parents with a notice to appear court date.
A 16-year-old female was driving in a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, owned by Roger Cornwell, Robinson, on North Trimble Road and 1300N, when she rear-ended Stacey Selby, 50, West York, who was driving a 2018 Chrysler 300. Damage was more than $1,500 and no injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Crouse Towing of Robinson.
Doyle Rister, 70, Omaha, was driving in a 2021 Ford F-150, when he rear-ended Jason McCord, 47, Hoopeston, who was driving in a 1996 Peterbilt TR semi, causing more than $1,500 in damage. United Life Care Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene and Rister’s vehicle was towed by Crouse Towing of Robinson.

Tosha Avila, 34, Willow Hill, was cited for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, following a traffic stop at North Allen and Rustic.
Kayla Smith, 32, Lawrenceville, was issued a notice to appear for driving while license is suspended, following a traffic stop on Main and Franklin.
Jan. 22
Kayla Wesner, 25, Robinson, was arrested on a Lawrence County warrant, following a traffic stop on West Main and Reed.
