Obituaries

Teresa “Kathy” File, 75, Highland, Ill., formerly of Anna, Ill. died April 30, 2021, at Highland Healthcare.

She was born on April 8, 1946 in Anna, to Arthur G. and Ruth (Youngblood) File, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis Marshall File, in infancy and Gerald Evan File, and by her sister, Lorna Marnell (File) Goodrich.
She is survived by her nieces, Lisa File and Traci Copeland; by her nephew, Kevin Goodrich; and by her guardian, Rena Smith.
Teresa, spent most of her life in Southern Illinois, with the exception of her time in the service. She was also served in the U.S. Navy.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5 at the Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds, Ill. Military rites will be accorded. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
