Timothy Rolla Hayes, 62, Newton, died Sunday, March 28, 2021, at his home.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.
Timothy was born on Nov. 3, 1958, in Olney, the son of George Stanley and Mary Lois (Bieber) Hayes. He married Carolyn Spraggins on June 9, 1990, and she survives.
Tim was currently employed at Newton Broom, where he had worked for over 30 years. He was a graduating member of the Class of 1976, from Newton Community High School.
Tim is survived by his wife Carolyn Hayes of Newton; sons Todd Miller of Normal, Ill. and Kevin Miller of Effingham; grandchildren; brother John (Kathy) Hayes of Newton; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ed Hayes.
Doris Joan Wilson
Doris Joan Wilson, 83, Martinsville, died Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Casey Health Care Center in Casey. Doris was born to Morton Asbury Wilson and Mary Eunice Janney Wilson in Clark County, Ill. on April 13, 1937.
She is survived by her sisters, Donna Wilson of Martinsville, and Dora Mae Cobb of Frankfort, Ind.; thirteen nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Dale Wilson, Darrel Wilson and Dallas Wilson.
Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.
Visitation was from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville. Funeral services was conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL with Pastor Paul Burress officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in rural Martinsville.
