Knoxville, May. 1, 1947 - Tenn. — Apr. 3, 2022Mr. James G. Bachelor, age 74 of Knoxville, TN and formerly of Mt. Vernon, IL and Robinson, IL passed away on Sunday April 3, 2022, at 9: 20 AM, at Trinity Hills Health Care of Knoxville, TN, following several months of failing health.

Jim was born in Robinson, IL on May 1, 1947, to Billy G. and Doris M. (Godfrey) Bachelor. On July 24, 1965, he married Deanna J. (Lockhart) and she preceded him in death on March 4, 2019.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, James G. and Natalie Bachelor, Powell, TN, Christopher Bachelor, Roanoke, VA; six grandchildren, Jason Levi and Tori Bachelor, Smyrna, TN, Katie and Justin Walsh, Powell, TN, Keisha Osmundson, Charleston, IL, Stormi and Casey McNabb, Knoxville, TN, Kara and Isaac Minor, Haubstadt, IN and Jaden and Brooke Bachelor, Watertown, NY; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Cathy Bachelor, Flat Rock, IL, Mike and Cathy Bachelor, Robinson, IL; a sister-in-law and spouse, Pam and Robert "Bob" King, Robinson, IL along with special cousin, Ron and Anita Bachelor of Texas and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Jim in death were his parents, his wife, Deanna Bachelor in 2019 and a brother Mark Bachelor in 2013.

The funeral service will be Friday April 8th, 2022, at 10:30 AM at the Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Pastor J.D. Branson officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 7, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home. Interment will follow funeral services in the Belair Cemetery, Belaire, IL.
