Wins were hard to come by for junior high girls’ basketball teams from Crawford County recently, as they won two of eight games to wrap up their respective regular seasons.

OPH girls split games recently

Two games ended with similar scores earlier this week, but that was both good and bad for Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville’s girls’ basketball team. OPH split games on back-to-back days, beating Red Hill Monday (57-31) and losing at Dieterich (56-34) on Tuesday.

A rough second quarter proved too much for Lincoln Trail College’s women’s basketball team to overcome Wednesday night, as the Lady Statesmen dropped a Region 24 game at Vincennes University, 76-68.
