Nuttall Middle School managed a split with Cumberland Monday night, winning the eighth grade game 37-29 and losing the seventh grade game 21-20.
In the eighth grade game, Cruz Dunlap led NMS with 17 points, while Gunner Hoalt posted 10, Isaac Hardiman contributed six and Wyatt Herrington scored four.
In the seventh grade game, Jaxon Hires led NMS with 14 points, while Joel York scored four and Cooper Knoblett netted two.
Meanwhile, Oblong dropped a pair of games to Red Hill Tuesday, losing the eighth grade game 34-28 and the seventh grade game 38-9.
In the eighth grade game, OES led 13-8 after one quarter, but trailed 16-13 at halftime. Oblong then trailed 27-23 after three quarters, then were outscored 6-5 in the fourth quarter to reach the final margin.
Lucas Blessing led OES with 13 points, while Blake Vest and Colton Goad scored six points apiece and Garrett Russell tossed in three.
In the seventh grade game, OES trailed 10-0 after one quarter, 25-5 at halftime and 38-6 after three quarters before winning the fourth quarter 3-0 to reach the final totals.
Payton Childress, Stephen Childress and Wyatt Snider led OES with three points apiece.
Also, Hutsonville-Palestine dropped four games recently, as they were swept by Newton St. Thomas Monday and Paris Crestwood Tuesday.
Against St. Thomas, HGS-PGS lost the eighth grade game 30-25 and the seventh grade game 41-13.
In the eighth grade game, the score was tied 7-7 after one quarter, but HGS-PGS trailed 13-10 at halftime and 23-21 after three quarters before being outscored 7-4 in the fourth quarter to reach the final totals.
Andrew Amburgey led HGS-PGS with 13 points, while Ray Woodward scored eight and Ryerson Beabout and Willis Strohm each netted two.
In the seventh grade game, HGS-PGS trailed 10-3 after one quarter, 27-7 at halftime and 33-7 after three quarters, while also getting outscored 8-6 in the fourth quarter to reach the final margin.
Elijah Beckes led HGS-PGS with six points, while Zack Riggs, Jaycub Liberatore and Blake Williams scored two points apiece and Brock Noblitt added one.
Against Crestwood, HGS-PGS lost the eighth grade game 34-14 and the seventh grade game 48-23.

Amburgey led HGS-PHS with 12 points, while Woodward scored two.
In the seventh grade game, HGS-PGS trailed 16-4 after one quarter, 28-4 at halftime and 41-14 after three quarters, then won the fourth quarter 9-7 to reach the final totals.
Riggs led HGS-PGS with 11 points, while Williams scored 10 and Beckes added two.
Hutsonville also split a pair of youth games with Olney St. Joe, winning the fifth grade game 29-19 and losing the sixth grade game 36-4.
In the fifth grade game, Chalon Titsworth led HGS with 12 points, while Ruxin Mehler scored six, Brody Parker and Nick Werley netted four points apiece, Jeslyn Eller tossed in two and Radlee Mehler added one.
In the sixth grade game, Ruxin Mehler and Kaden Jenkins scored two points apiece for HGS.
