Obituaries

Brad Legg, 40, Flat Rock, died unexpectedly on May 1, 2021.

He was born Feb. 12, 1981, in Olney, the son of Duane and Norvita (Arnold) Legg, both of whom survive. He married Stephanie Lee Tuel on Nov. 22, 2003, and to this union were born two sons, Charles “Charlie” Jackson Legg and Rylan Duane Legg, all of whom survive. Also left behind are his brother and sister-in-law, Justin and Carley Legg; his maternal grandmother, Mamie Arnold; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rodney and Kelly Tuel; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Justin and Rachelle Tuel and Derek and Athena Tuel; his twelve nieces and nephews; as well as several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Norvil Arnold, Sr., and by his paternal grandparents, Maxine and Charles Legg.
A 1999 graduate of Oblong High School, Brad would go on to become an operator at the Marathon refinery, working in Complex 7 for a number of years.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, at the funeral home, with burial following in the Port Jackson Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to his boys’ college fund, with checks made payable to “Stephanie Legg.”
