Sparked by a pair of key move-ins and the return of three starters from the spring season, Robinson High School’s boys’ basketball team has shifted from a team potentially a year away to a team that believes it can win now.

OPH girls split games recently

Two games ended with similar scores earlier this week, but that was both good and bad for Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville’s girls’ basketball team. OPH split games on back-to-back days, beating Red Hill Monday (57-31) and losing at Dieterich (56-34) on Tuesday.

A rough second quarter proved too much for Lincoln Trail College’s women’s basketball team to overcome Wednesday night, as the Lady Statesmen dropped a Region 24 game at Vincennes University, 76-68.
