High school sports practices begin

The annual Randy's Court Scholarship winners were recognized recently at the annual Randy's Court 3v3 Tournament in Robinson. Pictured are: (L-R) scholarship winner Mallory Clark of Robinson, Randy's Court  board members Brady Clampet, Heath Surrells and Joey Wright and scholarship winner Brooks Julian of Olney. Each of the scholarships were in the amount of $1,000 and it is the third consecutive year the scholarships have been awarded to area students. In addition to the 3v3 tournament and the scholarship awards, Randy's Court will also be hosting their annual 5v5 tournament July, then will host a kids camp July 18-20. Hutsonville-Palestine's softball team held its annual awards banquet recently. Special award winners included: (L-R) Krescene Holscher (Tiger Pride Award), Izzy Sheets (MVP, Most Home Runs, Most RBIs, Pitching Award, ICA First Team All-State, All-Little Okaw Valley Conference First Team), Ayla Cook (Defense Award), Addison McNair (Most Hits, Highest Batting Average, Fewest Strikeouts, ICA Third Team All-State, All-Little Okaw Valley Conference First Team), Alaina Holcomb (Golden Glove), Jaylee Hyre (Most Improved) and Madi Kingery (Most Hit by Pitches).
