Months long investigation results in five arrests in Oblong

The Oblong Police Department arrested five Oblong residents Saturday, following a six month investigation.
Authorities obtained a search warrant for 302 S. Adams and as a result of that search, Jennifer Sheridan, 40, was arrested on four counts of endangering the life or safety of a child, allowing persons under 21 access to cannabis and permitting sexual abuse of child and Matthew V. Ferreira, 19, was arrested for unlawful delivery of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis 10-30 grams, unlawful possession of controlled substance, criminal sexual assault and possession of child porn.
Three juveniles were also arrested in the search.
The first juvenile was charged and arrested with unlawful delivery of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
The second juvenile was arrested for unlawful delivery of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
The last juvenile was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
The Oblong Police Department and K-9 officer, Ruger, were assisted by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department in the arrests.
