The 36th annual Oblong Antique Tractor and Engine Show is Friday through Sunday at the Crawford County Fairgrounds in Oblong.
This year’s show features International tractors and engines, but there will be plenty of devices of all makes and models on hand. Large engines, antique cars, a flea market, food and demonstrations of threshing and bailing are also part of the event.
Activities get underway with an antique tractor pull in front of the grandstands at 6:30 p.m. Friday. All participating tractors must have been made in 1958 or earlier.
A farm toy show is open 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
On Saturday, a kids’ pedal tractor pull begins at 10 a.m.
The Parade of Power will begin at 1:15 p.m. in the grandstand area. A pull featuring garden tractors, UTVs and side-by-sides is 5 p.m. with a weigh-in at 4 p.m.
On Sunday, the annual car show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a second Parade of Power is 1:15 p.m. in the grandstand area.
Organizers suggest people bring lawn chairs so they can enjoy the shade and fellowship.
Admission is $5 for adults and free for children under 12.
