It was not a stellar day on the course for Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville’s golf team Wednesday, but it was plenty good enough to get in the win column.

LTC softball has busy start fall season

The start to the fall season has been a busy one for Lincoln Trail College’s softball team, as they played eight games in a span of nine days and came away with a 4-4 record. In the IECC Classic at Olney Sept. 11, the Lady Statesmen lost to Olney Central (13-2) and Wabash Valley (5-3).

Statesmen win two of three to start fall season

Two lopsided wins and a narrow loss have been the results for Lincoln Trail College’s baseball team to open their fall campaign. The Statesmen opened with a 14-11 win over Frontier Community College Sept. 2, then lost to Dyersburg State (3-1) on Sept. 10 and followed with an 11-3 win South Suburban later that day.

Lady Maroons score pair of wins, Lady Panthers split, Lady Tigers fall

Following an up-and-down weekend, Robinson High School’s volleyball team got back on track with a pair of wins earlier this week. The Lady Maroons opened the week with a two-set win over county foe Oblong, winning the varsity match 25-19, 25-14 and taking the junior varsity match, 25-11, 25-22.
