Following an unexpected week off, Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville’s football team is ready to take the field again and is hoping for a strong finish to what has been a rough season on the gridiron thus far.

Two games ended with similar scores earlier this week, but that was both good and bad for Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville’s girls’ basketball team. OPH split games on back-to-back days, beating Red Hill Monday (57-31) and losing at Dieterich (56-34) on Tuesday.

A rough second quarter proved too much for Lincoln Trail College’s women’s basketball team to overcome Wednesday night, as the Lady Statesmen dropped a Region 24 game at Vincennes University, 76-68.
