Palestine High School Drama Club to perform plays

Palestine High School Drama Club will be performing three plays on Friday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m.
The first two plays will be 10 minute plays that were originally presented at area nursing homes on Dec. 1. The first, “A Christmas Chaos,” is a 10 minute parody of the Christmas classic, “A Christmas Carol.” The second 10 minute play is “My FedEx Christmas Request,” about one boy’s quest to remove himself from the Naughty List.
After a brief intermission, students will present “Cafe Murder,” an interactive murder mystery in which the audience questions the suspects before voting to choose the murderer. It’s a difficult decision because everyone in the play hated the victim.
Tickets for the evening are available by calling Palestine High School at 618-586-2712.  Students are $6; adults are $8. Admission includes snacks, dessert and beverages.
