Pie in the eyeJunior High teacher Chris Macke, physical education teacher Shonda Wade and principal Jessica Sisil were the “lucky” winners among the Palestine Grade School faculty in a vote to see who would receive a pie in the face recently. The vote was taken as a reward for the whole student body succeeding in the AR reading program. Eighth-grader Brylee Tingley, the highest point earner in the school, “pied” Macke, while fourth-grader Grace Williiamson (pictured) and second-grader Emerson Walker were drawn at random to doom Sisil and Wade with their pie-filled fate.
