PPD asking for help in arson case


 

 

The Palestine Police Department is investigating a report of criminal damage to property/arson that occurred sometime around 11 p.m. at the apartment building in the 100 block of N. Wilson Street late Tuesday night, July 6.
An unknown person poured an oily substance on a doormat and lit a small fire in front of an apartment door that burned itself out.
Anyone having information pertaining to this criminal offense is being asked to contact the PPD through its Text-A-Tip Hotline at 1-812-648-0727 or by calling the Crimestopper Hotline at 1-888-596-7867.
