Rendezvous President Angi Herron conducted the first membership meeting of the year on Jan. 10 and set the dates for the annual Memorial Day weekend event as Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28 on the French Commons with the theme of, “Elihu Stout and the first newspaper of the Indiana Territory.”
The committee is interested in recruiting new volunteers. Interested parties should visit the group’s website at www.spiritofvincennes.org to sign up on the volunteer tab or attend a monthly meeting at Old Towne Players on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
The event also has three food booth vacancies for interested non-for-profit groups.
