Vincennes University is hosting an overnight STEM Academy for students from all backgrounds who are entering grades 11 and 12 at the VU campus. The camp is free and provides an intensive summer experience to explore careers and education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics while experiencing campus life.
Students participating will complete hands-on STEM activities and labs, visit select local STEM employers, hear from VU alumni working in STEM fields to hear about experiences and discover steps to take to prepare for a future in STEM careers. 
Upon successful completion of the academy, students will earn two college credits.
The camp begins on Wednesday, June 29 at 2:30 p.m. (EDT) and ends on Friday, July 1 at 3 p.m. (EDT). 
The camp will be held in the Wathen Business Building and the Jefferson Student Union.
